A program and library for content-aware image resizing using seam carving.
Seamstress is a portable library for seam carving. Arachne is a graphical application written to showcase the best features of Seamstress.
Seam carving is a technique developed by Shai Avidan and Ariel Shamir for resizing images by removing the boring bits. The technique allows you to change the aspect ratio of an image without distorting the contents, and even remove unwanted subjects from images.
