Seagull is a modern and user friendly programming language which compiles to Fortran. It is meant to bring the speed of Fortran to the area of general purpose computing. It offers a more modern and expressive syntax and higher familiarity compared to languages such as C++ and Python. The language is completely open source and available at https://gitlab.com/uranium5/seagull. There are plans for future quantum emulation and gui development, but for now it remains a clear alpha lang not suitable for production unless you really know what you are doing.
