The 'rewritten' gamelist has no filtering like Scid has. Thats not useful. Also Scid, like Chessbase has a click-target-square move enter feature and Scid vs PC has not. Misses a few other features Scid has. Therefore it has fixed the nasty bugs known from Scid on Windows. But without the above two features i can develop no real workflow with it.

I'm using Scid vs. PC whenever it comes to computer chess, it's just the best chess software out there. What I like the most is that it has a lot of functions, it's universal. The only 2 things I dislike is: 1. twin detection consumes too much disk IO on large databases. 2. GUI on Windows doesn't fit to modern Windows GUI's Thank you for such great project!

Just amazing. Powerful, fast, easy to use, and from what I can tell, a surprisingly small footprint
