CRM Tooling for Rational Rose

This is a plugin for Rational Rose that allows to import and export CIM MOF
files, following the DMTF specification, into Rational Rose.
It also includes a framework for Rose with the CIM Schema 2.7 Final.
In future releases, it is planned to also export a format supporting the IBM
Common Resource Model proposal currently brought forward to the GGF
(www.gridforum.org), hence the name "CRM Tooling".
Prerequisites:
- Rational Rose Professional J Edition 2000 or higher
- Java "J2RE 1.3.0 IBM" or compatible
- PDF document reader. Acrobat Reader can be download for free in
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/alternate.html
- JACOB open source project, V1.7 (Java-COM Bridge, http://danadler.com/jacob).
Support is provided to download this as part of the installation if not yet
present.
Installation Instructions:
If you have an older version of CRM Tooling installed, deinstall it
first (using Add/Remove Programs from the control panel).
Run the executable in this package (CRMTooling*.exe) and follow the
instructions.
As a result of the installation, three new menu entries get added to the
"File" menu of Rational Rose:
- Import from CIM MOF ...
- Export to CIM MOF ...
- Change and Repair CIM MOF ...
- Edit CIM Qualifiers ...
Documentation:
As part of the installation, a User's Guide gets installed which explains
both concepts and detailed usage.
