SAP GUI Apprentice (SGA) is a demonstration software package that showcases how modern Large Language Models (LLMs) can be integrated with SAP GUI to automate tasks.
The project includes three servers (SAP GUI Scripting Server, LLM Server, and Agent Server), a console application, and supporting utilities. Together, they form an experimental agent capable of interacting with SAP GUI screens and transactions, currently limited to working with data elements in transaction SE11.
SGA is not a production-ready product but a proof‑of‑concept designed to highlight the potential of LLM‑driven automation in enterprise environments. It demonstrates how natural language instructions can be translated into SAP GUI actions, paving the way for future intelligent agents that could replace manual SAP GUI operations.
