If installing in Debian, consider using our apt repository (described
at http://samscope.dna.bio.keio.ac.jp/wiki/index.php/Installing_Binaries )
or the debian directory with precompiled binary packages.

Ubuntu users can use the Launchpad PPA system (see
https://launchpad.net/~cryptickrisp/+archive/samscope ).

If installing in anything else, building from source is likely
required (but it should be as simple as running "scons" so don't
worry). Download the latest package from the source directory.
