RSS Owl is a powerful application to organize, search and read your news feeds in a comfortable way. It runs cross platform on Windows, Linux and Mac and can also be installed into Eclipse. RSS Owl is translated into the popular languages of the world.

update: I'm modifying my review due to @sg2002's great investigative work. To get this thing working on Linux Mint 18 beta, the following command is needed before running: sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libhunspell-1.3.so.0 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libhunspell-1.2.so.0 That's it. Double-click away.
Tried them all! RSSOwl is quick, easy, and flexible. Syncing with Feedly may be useful for some users (not me). The google feedreader feature should be removed.
Sadly it doesn't have sync with Feedly. These devs are living under the rock if they still have syncing with Google Reader in the software.
The best RSS reader! In assoluto il miglior aggregatore di FEED RSS!
This is considerably the best rss reader for Mac OS.
