RMUX is a Rust-based terminal multiplexer designed for humans, agents, and headless command-line workflows. It provides tmux-style detachable terminal sessions while adding a typed SDK and structured snapshots for programmatic control. Users can run terminal or TUI applications, detach from them, reconnect later, and inspect their state from code. The project is built to work natively across Linux, macOS, and Windows, including support for Windows Named Pipes. rmux is especially useful for AI agents that need to drive command-line tools reliably without losing session context.
