  • Warning: There is no source. Despite the fact that SF is a place for hosting FLOSS projects, Mr King does not include the source to this project. Now that the disclaimer is out of the way, I want to emphasize just how useful and powerful RKNRFGO is. Without it nRF51 development on OSX would be a second class citizen. Instead Mr King has created a toolset that is easier to use and, in some ways, more powerful than Nordic's own tools. Even without the source Roland King deserves our thanks...
  • This project is immensely useful for anyone developing for the nRF51822 on Mac OS X. Indeed I'd say it's a necessity. After hacking around flashing apps and soft devices with GDB, we found this and love it. Support is excellent. I asked about support for the 7.0.0 soft device, which is organized a little differently than previous versions, and a patch was released to support it in a matter of days.
  • Downloaded and ran this thing under OSX Mavericks and it worked great. I had already installed JLinkExe and run a script to disable the CDC drivers. But I just couldn't figure out all the magic to download my application with a S110 Soft Device. I could do it from the PC with nRFgo Studio, but really want to develop on my Mac. Thanks so much for writing this!
