I just installed Lineage OS on my Samsung SM-T380. it was amazing being able to take a tablet that was this old and make it modern again. Unfortunately I did run into a couple of bugs and I don't know how to reach out to the developer/maintainer so I'm going to put some information here in hopes that they see it. SM-T380 / gta2swifi — LineageOS 22.2 (20260602) camera failure Both front and rear cameras are unavailable. Multiple camera applications report no usable camera. dumpsys media.camera reports: Number of camera devices: 0 cameraserver itself is running. The vendor image contains: /vendor/lib/hw/camera.msm8937.so and /vendor/etc/vintf/manifest.xml declares: android.hardware.camera.provider @2.4::ICameraProvider/legacy/0 However, /vendor/etc/init/hw/init.target.rc defines the legacy Qualcomm camera service as: service qcamerasvr /system/vendor/bin/mm-qcamera-daemon but /system/vendor/bin/mm-qcamera-daemon does not exist. getprop init.svc.qcamerasvr returns nothing, and lshal shows no registered android.hardware.camera.provider. It therefore appears that the 22.2 package contains the camera HAL/configuration but is missing mm-qcamera-daemon, preventing the camera provider from starting and resulting in zero cameras being exposed to Android. Also, there is a Wi-Fi issue. The build works perfectly on WPA2, but the old vendor Wi-Fi stack fails when Lineage selects WPA3/SAE on a transition-mode network.

I installed Lineage 20 onto my t350 samsung tab A. I got it installed, but it just crashes a few minutes into being started up.

Installed LineageOS on my Galaxy Tab E many times., even back when it started with nougat (LOS14). Now we're up to 19! Thank you for your dedication to my little tablet!

Install of Lineage 17.1 for SM-t560NU was simple once I removed the "assert" lines from the top of "updater-script" file in 'META-INF/com/google/android' in the ROM zip. Prior to that trying to flash the ROM in TWRP (3.0.2) would hit "error 7". So far use is great as long as you are OK with and understand the potential risks of running an unofficial ROM. Thanks for breathing some new life into my old tablet!
