Designed to help you with nonlinear, multidimensional, multi-parameter regression, using the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. The regression model can be set up using the input syntax of most modern cas. Full featured visualization and data edit mask.

Regression Easy needs help. Especially need to catch exceptions and give reasonable error messages.
(In the moment, the standard error handler is invoked. Simply click "resume" on any error.)

For newest binary builds, look in the "/bin" directory of the Subversion distribution (code section).

Make sure to also download the 2008 version of math.dotnet.iridium. The corresponding dll file is in the files section.

  • declare target function with variables arg0-arg8
  • declare variable numbers as parameters with semikolon
  • declare variable numbers for function with semicolon
  • set start vector for parameter iteration with lvm
  • set function variable to plot by (if multiple)
  • set damping parameter lambda
  • dont forget to transform target function to upn
  • functions with one variable (usually arg0) can be simply plotted
  • set columns for data input to 2 for (x,y) or 3 for (x_1,x_2,y) or 4 for (x_1..x_3,y)
