We are pleased to announce the release of RedMica 3.2.0 (2025-05).

RedMica 3.2.0 is based on Redmine 6.0.5. It includes all features of Redmine 6.0.5, along with several enhancements scheduled for future Redmine releases, such as 6.1.0.

Highlights

  • Introduce reaction feature ("like" buttons) to issues, notes, news, and forums (redmine-42630)
  • Add a sticky header to keep the issue subject visible on scroll (redmine-42684)
  • Configurable columns for the lists of child and related issues (redmine-42477)
  • "Progress bar" custom field format (redmine-42335)
  • Display pasted images in appropriate size on HiDPI displays (redmine-38504)
  • Enable commonmark alert extension (redmine-42603)
  • Button to copy pre code block content to the clipboard (redmine-29214)
  • Add setting to allow/deny time logging on closed issues (redmine-13596)
  • Update Mercurial repository support to be compatible with Python 3 and remove support for Mercurial < 5.1 (redmine-33784)
  • Add support for Trilogy adapter, a MySQL-compatible database adapter (redmine-42675)
  • Add Stimulus as a Javascript framework (redmine-42510)
  • Ruby 3.4 support (redmine-41976)

Important Notices

  • Ruby 3.1 is no longer supported: Please upgrade to Ruby 3.4, 3.3, or 3.2 to ensure compatibility with RedMica 3.2.0.
