Its purpose is to help players understand positions, evaluate plans, and improve strategic judgment.

Recast prioritizes:

- openings justified by the middlegames they create
- FEN-centered retrieval
- model-game discovery by structure and idea
- engines as verification, not authority

Recast does not teach moves.
