It explains React’s surrounding toolchain in a practical order instead of pushing beginners into every technology at once. The guide recommends learning React itself first, then npm, JavaScript bundlers, ES6, routing, and Flux only as each problem becomes relevant. It also explains which advanced topics are optional, including inline styles, server rendering, Immutable.js, Relay, and Falcor. The project is written from the perspective of an early React team member and is aimed at people who already know basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
