rawk (rage against web frameworks) - generates a static content from a tree of markdown files and other content. it was originally written by kyle isom based on the suckless webframework (sw) by nibblesec.
- uses only standard shell tools - bourne shell, sed, grep, etc...
- very customisable
- lean code - less than 100 sloc of unix shell
- very portable - runs on any posix system (the bsds, linux, os x, ...)
- dual-licensed: public domain / isc - whichever is less restrictive in your locale
