"Pyrates" is a suite of TUI computer games designed as a classroom aid for teaching software localization with gettext. "Pyrates" showcases a number of common translation problems encountered during software localization.
The game requires Python 3 IDE (at least version 3.8) on your device. See the "Wiki" section above for more information about the games.
The game can be played on Replit.com (in English). New locales can be added on Weblate.org. See the tab "External links" above for links to the websites.
