Create a server for 3D worlds similar to opensim with python and postgres, the goal ist to have a small and fast implemetation. Also to build a viewer working in a browser.

Features

the server are in python to run on different platforms
moving around a sim in a grid, textchat is available
We use Panda3D for the 3D graphic
The viewer runs now from a browser like Firefox, IE or Safari
for testing the Browser Plugin visit http://py3d-worlds
Now also a VOIP server for chat is active
SQL shall be implemted in plpsql
