  • Excellent password generator
  • An excellent program, the only thing missing is setting how many characters of a kind to contain in the password. Example 2 lowercase letters, 2 uppercase letters or 2 numbers.
  • I have been using Password Tech, and its predecessor, PWGen, for several years. I am very satisfied with the product. I use it most often to create extended passphrases and unique user IDs. The single feature I would like to see in future English (Latin character set?) versions is the ability to select fonts in the "Generated Password" window to help avoid ambiguity (l, I, and 1, O and 0).
  • Great app to generate passwords if not the best but since version 3.0.0 asking for a donation most of the times you open it it's starting to get annoying.
  • Thank you very much for the program!
  • I've been using Password Tech and its predecessor, PwGen, for years. Never have I encountered a password generator that comes close. You have total control over the passwords that are generated, and the documentation and support are excellent, which is especially rare. The "Profile" feature is great for those terrible websites and other resources that enforce specific and/or unusual password requirements. Simply outstanding.
  • PWGen is open source. This is critical for a password generation tool. PWGen is the best. Not only passwords, you can generate pass phrases. Multilingual support. Text encryption and many other features.

  • I like it, despite of the fact that I can't make the Hotkey to work.
  • Good password generator. For humans it is very difficult to imagine crypto-secure passwords, but PWGen generates them with ease.
  • This Program is one of the best out there. There is a ton of flexability with it generating passwords. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because you can only use it on Windows. For Functionality I would give it 10 stars if I could but the for Usability, I would give it 3 star since I cant really use it. I use my cellphone(which is Android) for logging in to banking/email logins. So the only way I can use it is for generating passwords and storing them in a diffrent software for me to use.
  • This program has great flexibility for creating passwords for a variety of users and systems. My new favorite toy for generating passwords!
  • Great utility! Excellent features, but horrendously distorted program icon, ugly, outdated GUI, and just bad overall presentation and appearance. Hire a graphics designer (maybe even on Fiverr), A.S.A.P! Will update this review when programs presentation, appearance, and ease of use improves substantially.
  • Was using extreme password generator, but then I randomly came across this, which I had downloaded a while ago & I finally decided to try it....let me tell you what, I haven't touched EPG SINCE! I love love love PWGen. It rules. I used the custom dictionary .txt file I made for EPG & it worked perfectly. I use really different words in mine, including slang & it makes for awesome passwords that crack me up. Great software that is really useful, RIDICULOUSLY easy to use, FULL of features & VERY low on resource usage! I recommend this to anyone looking for a solution, and even those who aren't, because they SHOULD be using something like this. It's perfect. <3 Thank you to everyone involved in developing this, I <3 you!!! Please ignore the idiot b****ing about the interface. First of all, who rates good software with 3 stars just for something that isn't that bad in the first place. It is USABLE. It functions perfectly. If you don't like that, that's your problem. If you guys ruined the interface, I'd be pissed. Some of us prefer to be able to use software that doesn't enforce offensive GUI's that do not comply with our own Windows theme settings. There is NOTHING that ruins software more for me, than being FORCED to stare at a bright white window with blue freaking text or highlights. The icon is the only thing I'd change. Don't change it otherwise, please!
  • I lost my password generator when 64 bit windows gutted 16bit legacy support. PWGen is even better then what I had written.

  • A really nice password generator for windows. In active development, supports the most recent windows versions. Full featured, light in resources, with a nice GUI and very easy to use.

  • Nice and Easy to use.
  • Very useful - doesn't generate only passwords, but other related things such as randomly filled files.
  • good job
  • Incredibly useful and user friendly tool .
  • Nothing is harder than creating safe passwords by brainwork. I use PWGen for years to do this job for me.
