I notice that some antivirus software reports risk of virus in putty-nd, and I do look into this. It turns out that the listening to the keyboard feature when the term win is active and the ways to handle the w32sock api in putty will trigger that report. The way to solve this is to apply a code sign certification which can identify the software is released by me. From putty-nd7.6, it is codesigned by my private certification. And please report if the tool connects to any server unintended.

The login password can be stored in the auto-cmd config/proxy config. But please be aware that the protection is really weak. Please use a ssh-key instead and you may want to try the Windows OpenSSH agent pipe.

The Google Cloud key will be invalidated on 2024-06-16. Please to v8.2 or above.

I'd like to keep the newest version in secret while the old version has been/will be opened on GitHub some day.
