Proximus for NUMA – Installation Guide
Overview
This document describes how to download, install, and run Proximus on a local machine.
💡 Note: The placeholders
<version>,<revision>, and<os>will be updated in future releases. Be sure to replace them with the actual values.
Download
Download the appropriate Proximus ISO for your operating system:
proximus_numa_<version>.<revision>_bagrevand_x86_64.iso
proximus_numa_<version>.<revision>_ubuntu_x86_64.iso
proximus_numa_<version>.<revision>_centos_7_x86_64.iso
Installation
- Mount the Proximus ISO:
sudo mount proximus_numa_<version>.<revision>_<os>_x86_64.iso <MOUNT_DIR>
- Navigate to the mounted directory:
cd <MOUNT_DIR>
- Run the Proximus installer to extract sources to the desired path:
sudo ./proximus_numa_<version>.<revision>_<os>_x86_64.run --target <EXTRACTION_PATH>
Run
To start Proximus, run the following command in your terminal:
proximus-numa-<version>-<revision>
