About
Some databases are too large to be mirrored correctly on Sourceforge. This database is an example. To work around this issue, the database is split it two compressed files. Please follow the instructions below in order to install the database.
Minimum system requirements
The same databases can be openned from any version of Protospacer WB.
Installation
- Download the two compressed database files from the Sourceforge project page: https://sourceforge.net/projects/protospacerwb/.
- Unpack "main.zip" to the "Data" directory of Protospacer WB. This will create the main database folder structure.
- Unpack "index.zip" to the "base_data" directory in the database folder structure that you created in step 2.
- Run ProtospacerWB and you should see the database appear under "Available databases".
- Double-click the database to open it.
- Click on the information tab to view details about the contents of the database.
- If you unpacked "index.zip" to the correct location, you will be able to use Bowtie
