ProtDB Files

All files associated with ProtDB can be found here.

The directory ProtDB contains the tools for download, check it for the most recent version.

ProtDB requires some databases to be provided as files inside it's Library directory. For convenience the file Databases.7z is made available with the needed database files, they might not be up to date. If an updated version of the databases is required, the corresponding websites should be consulted (these can be found in the documentation and the source files of ProtDB).
In order to make these files available to ProtDB, after downloading and extracting ProtDB, download Databases.7z to the Library directory inside ProtDB and extract it in that directory. A new directory named Files should be created.
