We are trying to use intranet-rest to fetch leaves balance along with hours filed in timesheets from our .NET application for payroll processing. We have the application correctly setup and using wget -O -username - password etc we can see the XML output, but unfortunately we're having issues getting to this point within our .net application. Does anyone have some sample code for REST Authentication using either GET or POST.

    thank you

    Hi

It seems the issue might be due to permissions. Does anyone know where we can add another IP to the REST interface so it accepts connections. When we try wget from another server, it doesn't work but within the PO server it works.

    thanks

    Hi OneTag8,

    > IP to the REST interface

OK, so the issue is not with ]po[, but with your network configuration.

Please observe that you have to use the same port for REST as for normal HTTP connections (that is port 80 if you use Pound as a reverse proxy, as it is the case in the ]po[ default VMware).

Also, it may make sense to upgrade to V3.5 via CVS (that's pretty safe now), as we have fixed a number of REST issues while developing and iPhone App. Please check that /intranet-rest/version returns 1.5.2 or higher.

    Cheers!
    Frank
