  • I've used Paco for years and am very content with Porg as well. This software “feels” just like any ordinary packet-manager that may come with your Linux-distribution. People who insist that it is a bad idea to soil your system with hand-made packages should ... well, you know, I lack nuances in English. They should just shut up, now. Porg is proof that using your brain is a fine way to keep your Linux-PC up to date and manageable.
