Pokedex.org

Pokedex is an offline-capable Pokémon encyclopedia built as a fully client-side JavaScript web application. It uses Service Workers to cache application resources so the Pokédex remains usable without a network connection. PouchDB provides browser-side data storage, while Web Workers move heavier processing away from the main interface thread. The UI is rendered with virtual-dom to keep interactions responsive on desktop and mobile devices. Pokémon data can be generated from PokéAPI and packaged into local database resources used by the application. The repository includes development, build, testing, and Service Worker versioning workflows. The project is now unmaintained but remains a notable example of an offline-first progressive web application architecture.
