Version 1.2 (2018-09-16)

New features

  • Added --aur and --tool options to facilitate searching the AUR in addition to the main repos. --aur requires pacaur. --tool allows other tools to be specified. Any tool specified must be command-line compatible and use the same output format as pacman (and pacaur).

Version 1.1 (2016-01-10)

New features

  • Default less-based pager will now close automatically when the output is less than one screen length.
  • Added support for specifying the pager to use (with switches) in an environment variable ("PMSPAGER").
  • Empty space in left-justified package name column is now filled with dots (e.g. ".....") to improvement readabilty on wide consoles. Can be disabled with --spaces (-s).
  • Added --query (-q) option to use 'pacman -Qs' instead of the default 'pacman -Ss'.
  • Added colorization of headings.

Bug Fixes

  • Added logic to suppress searching/highlighting in the package name repo prefix to mimic how pacman searches package names and to allow the pattern '^foo' to work as expected.
  • Fixed bug with underline on search term highlights.
