JGame - a Java engine for 2D games
JGame is a small multiplatform 2D game engine. It runs on the Java JRE 1.3+ platform, the J2ME (MIDP2.0/CLDC1.1) mobile platform, and the Android (2.1+) platform. It provides a very high-level framework for "classic" type arcade games.
Galactic Killdozer
This is a PC-port of a good-old ZX-Spectrum era game, a Boulderdash-like 2d scroller originally named "Astra Down to Earth", which I had nostalgia for. Uses GTK+-2.0, gtkglext-1.0 and OpenGL, written in C.
Sopwith 3
Sopwith 3 is a semi-official sequel to/remake of the two original versions of the classic arcade game Sopwith made by David L. Clark as an employee of BMB Compuscience. New features include working multiplayer.
TiWarriors Asteroids Game
This is an arcade style game based on the classical Asteroids. Two things differ from the original: energy control and multiplayer mode. Its 100% pure Java, proving that the language is becoming more suitable for game developing.
Spinvaders
Spinvaders is an arcade game based on the classic Space Invaders game. You control a gun turret at the bottom of the screen, and must fight off wave after wave of alien invaders.
