Version 1.1 This is version 1.1. Many thing works, things are stable (but read on) * Dir_tree fully implemented. * Tagging fully implemented. Error for all-tag of non-shown icons corrected. * Thread killer optimised. Worstcase 4x => 1x * Systemwaitcurser some places This version (1.0 as well) is hit by a litmit in qt's ability to handle pixmap'ed widgets, meaning that pixgui crashes with no warning when more than ca 3000 pictures are fetched using a tag or a similar number of pictures are fetched from a directory, and this tag is chosen for display. In order to minimise the widget usage, focus will be on icon display for the coming version. Pending: Icon display Recurse-import Exif implementation Update of pair_dumper Update of graphic_viewer Deletion of tags blacklist on-demand database ressource control backup/restore memleaks in get_single_value ..and all the other stuff Win32: unrar, run pixgui.exe Linux: Check your * Qt-environment. You need dev set. Use your favourite pack dealer or visit http://qt.nokia.com/downloads * Berkeley DB Environment You need dev set. Pack dealer or go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/berkeleydb/downloads * untar to somewhere * run "qmake" * run "make" * run "./pixgui" Have fun, comments appreciated! tagger@nopsoft.dk
