  • A few days ago It's not possible to install Libreelec, always appears not possible to install with errors. Two weeks ago this problem didn't occur.

  • PINN is the absolute perfect piece of software if you want to use or simply try out many different Operating Systems on a Raspberry Pi. Don't even sit on the fence, install it. You won't be disappointed. The only way this could be better is if there was a PINN for x86/AMD64! :) We need this!

  • PINN is an incredible tool for exploring the variety of rPi operating systems. Install complete operating systems or light distributions, media players, video game emulators, and more. Absolutely worth a test drive if you're unfamiliar.

  • 1) LibreELEC 10.x available in pinn's repo have no support for H265 codec for Raspberry Pi2. As old stable version 9.2.8 could do it, pls might you add it to your repository? Thanks very much for your help. 2) Installing image "openelect_rpi2/storage.tar.xz" I get an file checksum error...is not possible to install this OS on rpi2.

  • This app is a nice improvement on NOOBS and the documentation and support from the dev is great. PINN was the best way for me to start learning more about the Raspberry Pi and Linux in general.

  • Kali Linux is already available for the Raspberry Pi 4 for a few months ... It should be in the list of PINN operating systems.
  • SH-SCRIPT to choose another installed OS: I wrote a bash-script, that alows you to REMOTLY-SWITCH/BOOT to another installed operating system. If you are connected with your os (putty) you can do this easy steps: - Example: Connect to LibreELEC to your home-folder (/storage) - Download script: "wget h**ps://patrickfanz.net/scripts/pinn/os_switch.sh" - Make script executeable: "chmod +x ./os_switch.sh - Run script: "./os_switch.sh" or "sudo ./os_switch.sh" (e.g. on Raspbian) - Choose the OS you wand to boot next time. FINISH! Questions or problems? Ask me: patrick.fanzott@gmx.at
  • Absolutely love this. Much better than NOOBS. However, could you support the RetroFlag GPi case? I would love to be able to switch between OSes when it first boots up. I've been looking for a solution but to no avail. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I have no information on how the RetroFlag GPi case uses the buttons. Are they connected via USB, or via GPIO? How is Retropie configured to use them? Please open an issue on https://github.com/procount/pinn/issues for further support.
  • A+
  • PINN has made playing with the Raspberry Pi sooo much easier.
  • Great! I just recommend to add Kano OS to your list of available operating systems. (developers(dot)kano(dot)me/downloads/)

  • Amazing piece of software i only have one request if its possible About the ArchLinux both versions Arch1 and Arch2 i have downloaded all the files required for an offline installation from the sd card and it ask for a file/s between the installation from the internet, as i did my research i found out that the partitions.json file includes in the tarball section this two entry`s ---githubusercontent.com/procount/pinn-os/master/os/Arch2/boot.tar.xz--- ---archlinuxarm.org/os/ArchLinuxARM-rpi-2-latest.tar.gz--- So it requires an internet connection even you you have downloaded all the necessary files for offline installation can you fix that please? as i see now the archlinux os from the OS folder is not there anymore,i will appreciate if you can make both archlinux versions totally offline like the other os Thank you
