It's a pretty good project, though it has lost sight of true programing. This is a PHP3 application, that has only been updated to remove deprecated functions, and add new features, without rewriting the application for the modern world. Framesets, in general are bad joojoo in the development world since about 2001. It has layers of code just slapped onto the original, not following any form of syntax throughout. It's latest version I am trying to use has a lot of bugs, and lots of overwriting of data all across the system instead of functions or a class handling the system and dynamic content. All in all, PHPMyChat needs to enter the real-world and update. A complete rewrite from base one utilizing jQuery, correct use of PHP5, and HTML5 or DIV templating.
