I use it currently to control uboot and ssh from a Windows7 box, trough cygwin over a ttyS3 (usb serial cable), I should have found out about this earlier ... Nice stuff

To Willard H. Henry: For Windows environment, code.google.com/p/wexpect/ should be used instead of this project
