p5 is a collection of tools that makes Perforce easier to use. Some of them provide functionality that I wish was in p4 itself. Others just make the existing p4 interface easier to use.
Most useful features:
* "-cp" can be used as shorthand on any command line for the "most recent pending changeset". Once you teach your fingers to use this, you'll wonder how you lived without it.
* "p5 share -o" will prepare your changeset for review.
* "p5 desc" will examine a changeset.
* "p5 backup" is for quickly checkpointing your work as you go, and "p5 restore" is for getting back to an earlier checkpoint.
