In my line of work I create promotional deal sheets with InDesgin and sometimes need to work out promotional discounts displayed graphically on the sheets as a percentage off. Although excel is useful for this I wanted to do this on the fly without excel and without having to reach for the calculator. So I created this very simple tool to do exactly what i needed and although it may not come in useful for everyone it might come in useful for someone so I decided to share it here.
