A complete Linux operating system designed for the windows or mac users that are not familiar with the Linux alternatives. Pearl is not a Mac and does not run mac software, nor is it a pear remake at all.
Features include both compiz and marco as window manager. Pearl Linux MATE 1.5 uses Marco as defalt window manager and we include an easy Compiz On Off switcher inside the Mate Control Panel. When activating your desktop effect by choosing Yes on this switcher compiz is configured with working magic lamp minimizing effects (like genie effect on osx) as well as wobbly windows and a few other standard effects.
The main difference between version 1.0 and 1.5 is:
1) Marco as default window manager
2) WPS Office Suite replaces Libre Office
3) Smplayer as default media player
4) Pearl dark osx style theme as default
5) Standard top panel menu
