Use any one of many USB Imaginers including Ventoy, which is reinstalled,
PearlStick, Disks,
We highly recommend Ventoy for single or multi ISO booting.
Ventoy still our #1 with a 100% success rate.
Pearl PDE is very stable even using desktop effects as default,
however if you play around with settings your likely to get stuck.
The easy way back to life is either temporarily switch window manager
with wm-switch inside the control panel on right clicking your mouse.
Using CCSM (compizconfig-settings-manager go to preferences and choose
Default Profile and your back. Have fun. :-)
