PasteJump

Which file to download

Each release is a folder above, named after its tag. Inside it:

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Nothing is installed and nothing is written outside the folder you unzip into.

Two things to know

These files are mirrored from GitHub, byte for byte. They are not rebuilt here - the same commit does not produce identical bytes, so a second build would give downloads that hash differently, which is indistinguishable from one of them having been tampered with. The mirror re-hashes every file against the hashes published in the GitHub release notes and refuses to upload on a mismatch. SHA256SUMS.txt is those same hashes, so you can check what you downloaded.

The builds are not signed with a paid certificate, so SmartScreen reports an unknown publisher on a first run: choose More info, then Run anyway.

Still a pre-release

A tag ending -preN is a pre-release. PasteJump has been used daily on one machine by one person: worth trying, not yet worth relying on for anything you cannot afford to re-copy. The GitHub release notes for each tag say what changed and what is known to be broken.
