Packet Tracer Remote was created to make Cisco Packet Tracer accessible to students using HTML 5 compatible browsers such as Chromebooks. It is based on Ubuntu 20.04 with noVNC, TigerVNC, and WebSockify installed. Proprietary Cisco Packet Tracer and related activities must be downloaded separately and installed using "sudo menu".

Cisco Packet Tracer, noVNC, TigerVNC, Ubuntu, and WebSockify are trademarks of their respective owners. No endorsement by any trademark holder is stated or implied.

Source code for files that have been created or changed is included in this project. Source code for the remainder of the virtual machine can be downloaded from Ubuntu, noVNC, and WebSockify.
