DSpace and Joomla Live DVD Installation This page contains image file. Save this file and burn it onto DVD to make it bootable Live DVD. This live DVD is configured with Lubuntu (14.04 LTS) Operating System, Dspace 5.2 (Digital Library Management System) and Joomla 3.4.5 (Content Management system). The Operating User name is 'library' and the Password is 'dspace'. Help links for DSpace and Joomla are available on the Desktop. The user has a choice to either try the system or install it permanently on the system. If Live DVD’s are used to boot with TRY option, hard disk will not be touched and it works from CD / DVD. The users can practice the application software and once the work is completed, system can be shutdown. Nothing will be saved and normal operations can be resumed in the system when restarted. If the user selects the Install Option the DVD will install all the software on to the Hard disk. For backup and restoration procedures contact the developer (ramesh.parichi@gmail.com). There is also a customisable version of live DVD configured with Ubuntu. It occupies more than 3 GB. We are trying to upload the same on this site.
