Application Description Force is a free IDE for the FORTRAN 77/90 programming language. 2. Notes This port is meant to be used by any students or professionals who need to compute using FORTRAN. The creators of this port do not own Force Fortran, and are not affiliated with the Force Project. All credit for Force Fortran goes to the Force Project. This port was created by Brett Cardena and Dacoda Nelson at The College of New Jerseyª. Make sure to use click "File -> Open" or the "Open" button that is in the FORCE 3.0 Window, not the one in the Mac OS X menubar. The first time you do this it will open up to a directory within the app. Simply press the "Up One Folder" button until you get to your home folder. From there you can locate your .f files. Also, within the application you cannot CTRL-Click, you must use a mouse for right clicking purposes.. 3. Port Info / Status CXEx Port Status: GREEN ( GREEN = tested and working / RED = tested and not working / GREY = not tested ) 4. System Requirements Tested on: OS: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor RAM: 4Gb (Requires MUCH less than this, this is just what it was tested on.) 5. Known Issues -Windows blink while compiling. -Crashes when you try to "Run with PIF file". -It cannot open a .f that is double clicked on. You must open the program, then find the .f file. -CTRL-Click does not work within the application, in order to right click you need a mouse with a right button.
