A wonderful tool that can be left running in the evening with -o7 -zm1-9, and in the morning thousands PNG’s are magically shrunk without quality loss. Run them in parallel terminal to double, triple, quadruple the fun!

Very effective even at default settings, and fast too. My favorite PNG optimization tool.

Since the 0.7.0 rewrite, this tool has been fabulous for programmers thanks to the opng_reduce_image() function it provides, and yet I don't think enough people know about it. Just #include "opngreduc.h" and call opng_reduce_image(png_ptr, info_ptr, OPNG_REDUCE_ALL) just before you call png_write_png(). Every program which produces a png file "SHOULD" reduce color depth and palettize whenever possible, and there's no sense in duplicating all of this effort. Thanks for saving me hours.
