DownloadOptiPNG is a PNG optimizer that recompresses image files to a smaller size, without losing any information. This program also converts external formats (BMP, GIF, PNM and TIFF) to optimized PNG, and performs PNG integrity checks and corrections.

A wonderful tool that can be left running in the evening with -o7 -zm1-9, and in the morning thousands PNG’s are magically shrunk without quality loss. Run them in parallel terminal to double, triple, quadruple the fun!
