OpenStrandStudio 3D ==================== OpenStrandStudio 3D is based on the original OpenStrand Studio. It lets you create any knot in a diagrammatic way by using layers for each section of a strand. The software was created by Yonatan Setbon to facilitate designing any knot, in order to demonstrate and explain how to make complex tutorials involving knot tying. What's New in Version 1.01 --------------------------- 1. Collision Detection - Strands now detect collisions when moving control points, preventing overlaps and keeping your design clean. 2. 3D Grid & Axis - A visible 3D grid with axis indicators helps you orient and position strands precisely in 3D space. 3. Resample to Segments - Right-click a set group to split its curves into a chosen number of straight segments. Options include: Resample (set segment count), Re-resample (change the count), Restore Original Curves (revert to smooth Bezier), and Apply as Default (make the resampled shape permanent). 4. Delete Full Set - Right-click a set group header to delete all strands in the set at once, including any attached descendants. 5. Closed Knot Loops - Strands connected in a knot cycle now render as seamless closed loops with per-strand highlighting support. --- What's New in Version 1.00 --------------------------- 1. 3D Strand Visualization - Full 3D strand and braid visualization with OpenGL rendering. 2. Layer-Based Editing - Layer-based strand editing with over-under effects. 3. 3D Control Points - Move, rotate, and manipulate control points in 3D space. 4.
