1- ABOUT:

	OpenSGW is an open source SS7 signaling gateway.
	
2- AUTHOR:

3- FEATURES:

	Some of the features that will be included in OpenSGW are:
		- SS7/SIGTRAN gateway: MAP/SIP, TCAP/TUA, SCCP/SUA, MTP3/M3UA, MTP2/M2PA, MTP2/M2UA, ...etc. 
		- JAIN Protocol provider for protocols: MAP, TCAP, INAP, ISUP, ...etc.
		- JAIN CALL CONTROL JCC driver for protocols: MAP, INAP, CAP, ...etc.
		- JAIN SLEE RA for protocols: MAP, INAP, CAP, ...etc.
		- Advanced SS7 routing in high layers like MAP, TCAP, SCCP, ...etc.
		- MAP USSD Gateway.
		- OSA PARLAY / PARLAY X protocol gateway.
		- SS7 application server using servlet model: MAP servlet, CAP servlet, INAP servlet, ...etc.
		- JTAPI implementation using MAP, CAP and INAP. 
		- ...etc.
		
	Any other idea is welcome :).		
		
		
4- STATUS:

	The first feature that is being developped right now is the SS7/SIGTRAN gateway. We are in a good step at 
	implementing the MTP3/M3UA part. Also some design documentation is in progress.

	
5- SUPPORT:

	Any support is welcome especially donations, SS7 hardware (PCI/PCIe SS7 cards, cables, ...etc).
	It is also very interesting if someone can provide a real telco test environment to test different features
	of OpenSGW.
	
	
6- SPONSORING:

	We need sponsorship from companies by providing hardware for tests, donations, testing, ...etc. These 
	companies will gain interesting benefits from OpenSGW like:
		- Icon of the company published in OpenSGW website that will be launched soon.
		- Feature requests from these companies will be developed in priority.
		- Get advanced support from OpenSGW developers.
		- ...etc.
