1. About OpenNOP

OpenNOP is an open source Linux based network accelerator. Its designed to optimize network traffic over point-to-point, partial-meshed or full-meshed wide area networks.

5. Installation

The appliance comes with all the required software pre-installed.
To update the appliance:

refresh the repository
"zypper refresh"

install the latest updates
"zypper update"

There are also repositories for other distros avaliable on the Linux Build Service.

6. Usage

1) For inline deployment setup your network interfaces and routes.  
Dont forget your firewall rules.

2) For out of line deployment setup your interface and firewall rules.
Route traffic to OpenNOP using policy based routing.

3) The appliance has two users after installing.  They are:
	root|linux
	opennop|opennop
