New

  • We're live on Product Hunt. A small card in the app links to MausBot's launch page; it shows once and goes away for good when you close it. (#2760)
  • Bots ask you to sign in where they work. When a site needs a login, the bot shows a Sign in needed card and waits; you sign in yourself in the bot's browser or on the computer it works on, press Done, and it continues. No password ever goes through the chat. (#2707)
  • Saved logins. Save a login from that card for its exact site and the bot signs in with it from then on, without ever seeing the password. Settings lists your saved logins per bot. (#2725)
  • Logins from 1Password. Connect a vault through a service account and bots can sign in with its logins. (#2726)
  • Signed-in sites, and My Chrome. See the sites a bot's browser is signed in to, sign out of any of them, and use your own Chrome for sites that refuse the bot's browser. (#2706)
  • Long team jobs keep going. A job a Chief hands to teammates now runs on one durable job record: a restart no longer ends it, a teammate's cut turn resumes once and the Chief is told, a step cap continues the same work in place, and work waiting on you never expires and holds nothing. A turn that already sent, posted, committed or paid is never rerun. Stop means stop: it cancels the waiting work and settles its cards, and a connection or key you finish afterwards is saved without restarting anything. (#2651–#2657, [#2691], [#2695], [#2702], [#2728], [#2737])
  • Rooms. Several threads of one room can work at once; stop @Bot holds one member; a member's room reply is its final message; rooms can learn into memory (opt-in); a room's teammate work shows in the room. (#2641, [#2719], [#2723], [#2724])
  • New engines and models. Muse Wonder through Muse Code and the Meta Model API; native Cline (ACP); Groq as a built-in API provider; Claude Haiku 5.5 in the picker. (#2717, [#2684], [#2648], [#2647])
  • Teams. Set the approval level or the model for a whole team at once; a bot warns when its context is nearly full. (#2721, [#2732])
  • Skills learn themselves. After a run of tool steps a background review turns what worked into a skill, on Claude and Codex bots. (#2720, [#2733])
  • Routines can also run when OpenMausBot starts. (#2700)
  • Phone web app. Install OpenMausBot on your phone's home screen. (#2678)
  • Open a chat from a link. openmausbot:// links open the right chat in the desktop app. (#2664)
  • Chat. Steer a running Claude turn with pictures; scroll back through long chats without jumps; multi-select questions; inline pictures show the delivered copy; Connect cards in /setup instead of a trip to settings; a bot's profile opens where you left it; give a thread a link. (#2718, [#2644], [#2667], [#2628], [#2729], [#2685], [#2687])
  • Prompt cache keep-warm (opt-in). Idle Claude threads keep their prompt cache warm so the next message answers faster. (#2722)

Approvals

  • Full access stays on. Changing a bot's engine no longer resets it to Ask, and turning it on takes effect at once from any client. Custom rules stay with the engine that owns them. (#2697, [#2701])
  • Delegated approvals say what happened, flag steps that did not run, and a card holds only its own job. The Chief hears exactly why a teammate stopped, and a report to a busy Chief waits instead of being lost. (#2653, [#2655], [#2657])
  • Codex bots' coordination tools never raise an approval card. (#2646)
  • Approved MCP read tools are remembered across tasks. (#2708)

Fixes you may have hit

  • Browser: a daemon that will not close is stopped along with the Chrome under it; Codex bots get their browser back; timed-out calls recover without a restart; the bots' browsers close when the server stops; an action says what it changed so the bot does not read the page back; a person's typing is kept when the bot's call never reached the page. (#2616, [#2631], [#2634], [#2635], [#2636], [#2672], [#2709])
  • Claude: which usage limit stopped a bot and when it resets; a lost session recovers by itself. (#2656)
  • Computer: calls wait for a busy computer instead of failing; an unreachable VPS no longer fails turns; a person holding the computer is told after 30 minutes. (#2660)
  • Threads: with threads hidden, every reply lands where you can reach it and every way into a bot opens its main thread; a side thread offers the way back; a job's review answer and a webhook post mark their thread unread. (#2676, [#2683], [#2696], [#2690])
  • Errors: a provider's own sentence instead of a cut-off JSON body; provider setup says clearly what is installed, signed in and ready. (#2668, [#2674])
  • A question parked across a restart is shown once, and named as waiting on you. (#2703)
  • Desktop: the local screen preview captures on Windows; less glass flicker on Windows; pointer cursors restored; sidebar icon sizes and call buttons made consistent; a self-hosted server can use the microphone for Live calls once allowed. (#2680, [#2633], [#2622], [#2643], [#2671], [#2689], [#2650])
  • Engines: the Hermes ACP probe survives a closed pipe; an MCP sign-in whose issuer ends with a slash is accepted. (#2638, [#2688])

Behind the scenes

  • One way for bots to work together. coordinate_bots and assignment_status are the whole surface; the older delegate_bot, ask_bot, send_to_bot, check_delegation and wait_delegation tools and routes are gone, which also makes every tool list about 3 KB lighter. (#2737)
  • The server's main file is being split into modules, with a size guard that only goes down: the bot, room, team, channel, task, message, thread, config, instance, MCP-server, computer and status routes now live in their own modules, and server/index.ts is about 5,000 lines shorter. (#2738, [#2740], [#2744], [#2745], [#2759])
  • Tests and CI: a long-running Chief of Staff job end to end; steadier coordination, steer, sign-in and cloud-lending tests; Linux test shards get 30 minutes so healthy runs are no longer cancelled. (#2661, [#2627], [#2649], [#2681], [#2682], [#2739], [#2742])
