OpenGLB exports Autodesk Revit models to GLB, the binary form of the open glTF 2.0 standard, in one click. GLB is the format used by modern web viewers, game engines and AR/VR tools, so your BIM model can be shared and viewed far beyond Revit: in three.js, Babylon.js, Google model-viewer, Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Windows 3D Viewer, and digital-twin platforms.
OpenGLB keeps the structure of your model. Elements are organised as category, then family and type, then element, so the exported scene is easy to navigate and filter. Each element is split per material, with correct normals and colours taken from the Revit materials, and geometry is written in metres with the Y-up orientation that glTF viewers expect.
Alongside the GLB, OpenGLB writes a metadata JSON file containing the instance and type parameters of every exported element, together with its level, phase and design option, and the materials used. A compact MCP JSON summary is also produced for AI Agents.
