GnuCOBOL is a free COBOL compiler, which translates COBOL
programs to C code and compiles it using a native C compiler.

The file gnu-cobol-1.1.tar.gz is the first official GnuCOBOL 1.1 FTP upload.

The file GnuCOBOL_1.1_MinGW_BDB_PDcurses_MPIR.7z is a package intended for
testing purposes on Windows systems, which has everything needed, including
GCC 4.8.1 as C compiler. It is NOT heavy optimized and has some minor bugs
other binaries created from the source tarball don't have.
If you cannot unpack 7z-archives simply rename this file to exe for getting
a self-extracting archive.
