Nurikabe is a game of mental development, which consists of a board where you have to put "buildings" and "streets" so that all the "streets" are reported, and the "buildings" does not come together. The "buildings" are defined by a number indicating the number of squares occupied by the "building" on the board. The application shall propose such boards, to assist the player to solve, explain step by step how to solve it and make the resolution of the board.

    Nice game. I've spent a whole afternoon playing it :D, I can't believe there wasn't an open Nurikabe game project yet. Thumbs up to open source software!

    Thank you for giving me a special "Java 6" compatible version to play on last years OLD Macintosh Computers! The Java 7 Version that you originally made just wouldn't work for me: but this one does!!! I have tested Nurikabe_1.0_java6.jar on a MacPro3,1 with Mac OS X 10.6.8 and It works perfectly! I Love this Game! Highly Recommend it! Also note that the developer responds to bug reports quickly: and this fine puzzle game is under active development!
