This solution is fully automated, you just have to fill the initial inventory task in the back-end GUI to let the system know batch number, desired label size, reference number, and other identifiable information. Rest of the inventory is completed automatically. Each time you connect a workstation to the LAN and boot via pxe boot, NIS server automatically delivers a small OS to the workstation over network and carefully checks each component of your computer, automatically prints a label and stores this information in central database. You can then attach this self adhesive label to computer. Once you have processed a large number of inventory items and quickly want to create a report for certain computer items, you can simply scan the barcodes from each label into the GUI of NIS and it will automatically create audit report and provide you comprehensive report.
