Netdiscover is a network address discovering tool that was developed mainly for those wireless networks without DHCP servers, though it also works on wired networks. It sends ARP requests and sniffs for replies.
I really do not know about the support as I haven't used it. This scans ARPS by scanning IP addresses. It is really, really slow as it has to go through a lot of IP's. AutoScan Network only take about a half a minute. Unfortunately, AutoScan Network stopped working as of Fedora Core 24 and hasn't been supported since 2010.
